Charlotte County Historic Courthouse

Charlotte County's original courthouse was built in 1928. It is a neo-classical structure with both Greek and Roman influences. The beautiful facade of the courthouse was once obscured by modern improvements, but it has been lovingly restored to its historic appearance. The courthouse was reopened in 2008 and is once again a source of pride for the residents of Southwest Florida. It is listed on the National Register of Historical Places.
