About Copyrights

That little c with a circle around it, like this ©, means something. It is a reminder that copyright laws apply to anything it is attached to it. At its most basic level, copyright law provides that any work created by any artist, using any media, is protected from being copying and used by anyone who did not create it without conditions, including payment, imposed by the creator. The symbol or other copyright notice (the word copyright or copr.) does not even to be present for copyrights to be present. This means it is illegal to use an image, or any other art, music, etc., created by someone else in any way.

In the era of the internet and scanners there is a tendency by some to take images created by someone and use them; it is easy to do. But, just because you can do something does make it right, or legal.
